WHBC offers a two-year Diploma of Arts in Religion with the successful
completion of one of four concentrations areas: Pastoral and Church
Leadership, Evangelism and Missions, Music Ministries, and General Bible.
We also have a one-year Diploma of Arts in Ministry.

What kinds of classes are taught at the
Bible
College
?
WHBC provides solid Biblical and theological based courses, general
education courses, and coursework in practical aspects of ministry. A
sampling of courses includes: Old and New Testament Literature, Spiritual
Authority & Integrity, Introduction to Evangelism, English, Christian
Leadership, Acts and the Holy Spirit, Biblical and Theological Basis of
Praise and Worship, Eschatology, College Choir, Music Theory, etc.

What is the range of ages of students
enrolled?
WHBC attracts students from 17 to 65 years of age. Some students come
straight from high school, some have previously been to college, and others
have already graduated from previous colleges plus have working experience
or graduate degrees when they come to

4.
How long does each semester last?
The fall semester begins in August and ends in December, and the spring
semester begins in January and ends in May. Generally, each concentration
can be completed in four semesters of full-time study.

help students with employment while they are in school?
At the beginning of the fall semester, WHBC invites various
Columbus
employers to
our annual Job Fair to assist our students and their spouses in securing
area employment. Other opportunities are posted on the Employment Board for
the students to review. Those who are interested in working at

How can I pay for my tuition and fees?
WHBC only accepts cashiers’ checks, money orders, cash, American
Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa (debit or credit card). No personal, ministry or business account checks
are accepted.

offer scholarships or financial assistance?
At this time WHBC is not accredited by the federal Government, therefore
our students are not eligible to receive federal or state money. WHBC does
not offer scholarships. However, aid is offered in the form of a Tuition
Partnership Grant provided to students who are supported by their
Ministerial Fellowship member church. If the church provides $1,400 in tuition, WHBC will provide the
second (consecutive) semester of tuition only. Contact WHBC for more
information on this opportunity. WHBC tuition is intentionally
kept low to enable as many students as desire to attend the school.

Educational Benefits?

10.
Can I get a loan through a financial
institute to attend WHBC?
Students are encouraged to use the SLM Financial Corporation (which is a
Sallie Mae loan program) to assist them with covering the expenses of

offer housing on campus?
Yes, Cunningham Hall and Jude Hall. Students 23 years of age or younger,
without dependents, are required to live in the Residence Halls for their
first two semesters unless they live with their parents or relatives. If
space is available in either Residence Hall at the end of Registration,
students older than 23 can request permission to live in the Residence
Halls.
12.
How are roommates assigned in the
Residence Halls?
Roommates will be assigned upon arrival at WHBC. If you would like to
request to live with a specific person, you may do so on the Roommate
Placement Information Form, which you will receive via mail after you have
been accepted to WHBC and have paid the minimum required to live in the
Residence Halls.
13.
What about meals?
The MAC Café offers a meal card for students to purchase. The minimum cost
of the meal card is $20 which will purchase four (4) meals from the MAC
Café. Students who live in the Residence Halls have access to cooking
utensils and microwaves, as well as a commissary with vending machines.
14.
Do you provide housing for students over
23 years old and/or for married couples?
At this time WHBC does not provide housing for married students or for
students over 23 years of age. However, students over the age of 23 may
request permission from the Dean of Students to live in the Residence Halls
depending on room availability. Information on local housing is available
upon acceptance to WHBC.
15.
What classes can I transfer from another
college?
Only general education classes (such as English, Math, Psychology, and
Sociology) taken at college level will transfer. A grade of “C”
or higher is required and a sufficient amount of credit to fulfill our
requirements is needed. The college you attended must send an official
transcript to WHBC for consideration.
16.
Can I complete the Diploma of Arts in
Religion program in less than two years?
With credits transferred in, it may be possible with special academic
counseling. A meeting with the Academic Dean would be required.

offer correspondence courses?
The External Studies Program is available for those who would like to learn
more about the Bible but cannot relocate to
Columbus

Ohio
.
The External Studies Program is not for college credit.
18.
Does

Harvest

offer summer classes?
Summer classes have been offered in the past, but are not currently on the
schedule. Updates of the Academic calendar are posted on our website.

Are there any athletic opportunities at
World
Harvest
Bible
College
?
Intramural sports are available at WHBC, including soccer, basketball,
volleyball, etc., as well as open gym twice per week.
