Examines the vital role culture plays in spreading the Gospel. Studies the origins and development of people groups from a cross-cultural perspective. Students learn to apply communication skills in various situations, such as Bible studies, home fellowships, job presentations, the art of making announcements, ministry exhortations, and the delivery of a sermon.

Study of communication strategy incorporation all mass media includes history, development, and current structures of media and their effects on society. The class surveys equipment, personal, programming, and production in radio, TV. film, print media.

Media Age Evangelism
2 Credit Hours

Familiarizes the students with all types of communication media and explores their use in communicating the Gospel. Students critique various media presentations of the Gospel and formulate their own model for the future.

English Composition

A course designed to improve communication skills through a study of the thesis, paragraph, and basic essay structure. A thorough review of English syntax and grammar with emphasis on the verb is undertaken. Standard word usage and spelling skills are also addressed.
